North Dakota tribes ask state for help with drug addiction

North Dakota tribes are asking state officials for more help and collaboration to address the opioid epidemic on reservations.

"This is something that's important," said Bruce Gillette, director of Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation's Circle of Life, a drug treatment center in New Town. "We're all doing something, and it's all good work, but we're doing it in separate places and different directions. How do we come together and do this effectively?"
